Monday, Monday.

This particular Monday started off late and great!

I had the whole day off and I was able to sleep late and have strawberries for breakfast.

I ran some errands and then got down to the dirty business of making cards.

Here are two for your consideration:

A Birthday and an all purpose.

Fresh Flowers

I made it a goal this summer to keep fresh flowers in my room.

It started with daisies and it is currently including cone flowers.

I like the idea that even if I don't get a chance to spend some time outside,

the outside will always have a place in my room.

(And what else am I supposed to do with an old Pepsi bottle?)

Pancake Breakfast

I've been working at a B&B recently and we made pancakes yesterday.

This made me hungry for pancakes,

thing is-we didn't have anymore mix!

Now I've never made pancakes before

from a mix or otherwise so this was my challenge for today.

I found an easy recipe here and started right in mixing it all up.

Then came the problem-

I didn't have enough milk.

No where near enough.

So I did the next best thing and I mixed in some chocolate milk.

The pancakes looked a little darker and had a faint taste of chocolate

but they were good,

real good!

I've Moved to the Dark Side

So my friend wanted someone to go with her to the new Twilight movie,

being a good friend I agreed to go.

She brought in the two movies that are out on DVD

so I could watch them before seeing the newest one.

I had seen the first one, and I've read all the books.

I liked the books before it was cool to like them

and fell off the wagon when they started being compared to Harry Potter

(Totally superior by the way).

But I's disappointed to report that I'm back on.

I'm back in love with the story and

...

I'm SO on team Jacob!

I've had some extra time before work starts and

I was able to finish a few pages yesterday.

While I was in Omaha I picked up a new album

and now I can't stop listening!

WOAH

This past week has been a whirl wind.

I finished my high school career with a rushed final at 7:30AM,

and a rather long awards ceremony.

After a quick change into comfier clothes I hopped on a bus.

We were off to Omaha Nebraska for national forensics.

I stayed up until 3:30AM on Monday to catch a 5:30AM flight home,

then I graduated.

Then I slept.

A lot.

I woke up and started creating.
