I've been on break.
Not doing much, but also doing quite a lot, thank you very much.
Like on Wednesday; I made dinner!
I started with rosemary parmesan rolls.
Really I just made dinner rolls.
Then right before baking I brushed them with butter
and artfully sprinkled parmesan and rosemary.
They were pretty addicting!
Next I roasted brussels sprouts.
This was my fist encounter with brussels sprouts (cooking and eating) and I really liked them!
I roasted them at 400 with olive oil, salt and pepper for half an hour,
flipping the sprouts at fifteen minutes.
Then I pulled them out squeezed on some lemon and sprinkled with parmesan,
roasting for another three minutes.
Finally the main course was salmon.
Which was so good I forgot a before cooking AND a before eating picture.
I baked salmon fillets with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice for fifteen to twenty minutes at 375.
Everything was scrumptious and a definite do again!
So heat up the oven.
It's cold outside after all.
While you're at it bake up some cookies,
or if you're feeling really adventurous
CAKE!
Either way, have fun!
*Note: Make sure your salmon is thawed.Otherwise you and your hard working parents will be super hungry before the salmon is even oven ready. Unless you're going for weapon quality salmon.
Then keep it frozen.
