Today is a Day for Making

Today is a Tuesday.
A rather cold one in these part.
There was a lot of convincing to be done so that a 8AM Spanish class would be attended
and the warm bed would become abandoned.

Fall is really upon us.
And I have apple!

Courtesy of my mother and her broken car I got a whole bag full of crab apples.
That is when I decided a pie must be made.
I started with a Martha Stewart crust:

Mixed my fruit with some cinnamon and sugar.

This is the best part of apple pie.
Eating the sugary spiced apples.

Is that not the best pie you've seen all day?
I know right!

In other news I found that the BBC's Sherlock is pretty FREAKIN' AWESOME!
(To be honest I think all of the BBC is awesome. Their accents, their programing, their news. I love it all.)
And also that I can knit quite well while watching is on Netfix.
(I really like to multitask.)
So as one thing leads to another,
I would like to announce that I have finally finished my sock.

That's right,
just the one I've been working on all summer.
So time for the next one . . .
. . . I'll let you know how that goes . . .

  1. That is the best pie I have seen all day!

    Nice sock! You rock!

  2. OH MY GOSH YOU MADE A SOCK!!!!!!!!!!
I am so proud of you.
You're inspired Melissa and I to attempt socks next.

  3. Ah! The sock is done! That is awesome. And it fits!! That's even more awesome. I'm nervous to try making one myself, but Marisa has promised to get me through it. (she's never done one either!)

  4. I'm here for you though! Make sure you use the pattern in the "Knitting for Dumbies" thats what changed my sock-making-life. Also just skype me and I'll be amazed at your super awesome skills! =)
